Christ like or like Christ

I am learning that if I am to be "Christ like" it doesn't necessarily require me to act like Christ, it requires me to first seek Him, and when I find Him I will act as he acts and won't even have to try. No one can live up to being like Christ, but we can seek him in His goodness and His word, and when we are willing to receive him we will reflect Christ.

"Do you think God knows He's good? No. He just is." From the book Mister God, this is Anna by Fynn

That's an interesting revelation. But I'm not sure if I completely agree. I think it's important for people to "feel good when you do good." Otherwise there will be no reinforcement to being "christ like," right?

A very true and enlightening revelation Camille. I too believed that to be like Christ was not just meant to be JUST in the physical sense of service, even though it IS something he approves. But there was always something deeper than that, and that is to be like Christ one must know and receive him and his word! ...Well, mine may not be as sharp as yours along side, but I think you've got it! =)
